T-Hrvatski Telekom (‘T-HT’ or ‘the Group, Reuters: THTC.L, HT.ZA; Bloomberg: THTC LI, HRTA CZ), Croatia’s leading telecommunications provider, announces that Irena Jolić Šimović, Member of the Management Board has been appointed Chief Executive of T-Com, the Group’s fixed network and broadband operation, with effect from 1 October 2008. Irena is replacing Ivana Šoljan, who has resigned to take up a senior position with an international tourist venture.
Irena joined T-HT in 1998 and four years later she took the position of Director for Corporate Strategy and Business Development. In 2006 she was appointed to the Management Board and became Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining T-HT she held managerial positions with Croatian Radio and Television and State Administration.
Branka Skaramuča returns to the Management Board and the role of Chief Human Resources Officer for T-HT. For the last four years she has been closely involved in the rapid growth and development of the Group’s mobile communications operation, T-Mobile, where she was a member of T-Mobile’s Management Board and Chief Human Resources Officer.
Branka joined T-HT in 2002 and for two years was Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the T-HT Management Board. Prior to joining T-HT, Branka worked for PLIVA, a leading regional pharmaceutical company for 17 years in a number of marketing, managerial and human resources roles.
