T-Hrvatski Telekom (Reuters: THTC.L, HT.ZA; Bloomberg: THTC LI, HTRA CZ, ‘the Group’), Croatia’s leading telecommunications provider, has fulfilled the pre qualification requirements in relation to the privatisation of Post and Telecommunications of Kosovo J.S.C. (PTK) and is now one of the Pre-Qualified Applicants.
The Group applied to the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for pre qualification on 27 September 2010.
PTK provides fixed-line, mobile and postal services through its brands Telecom of Kosovo, Vala and Post of Kosovo respectively. It is expected that only the telecommunications businesses will be sold when the Government of the Republic of Kosovo sells its 75% holding in PTK.
The Government of Kosovo will be informing Pre-Qualified Applicants about the tender process in due course.
