HT's "Generations Together", the national digital education program for the elderly resident of nursing homes, was recognized at the international "The Saber Awards 2022" as one of the best projects in the entire EMEA region.
The SABER Awards are among the most prestigious international awards in the communications industry, recognizing top achievements in public relations and brand management.
The 18th SABER EMEA Awards award ceremony took place in London last Friday. A jury of 50 communications industry experts deliberated over 2,000 projects and campaigns from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Hrvatski Telekom's "Generations Together" was recognized as one of the top five projects in the reputation management category and was the only campaign from Croatia to reach the finals this year.
"Generations Together was recognized among the great competition at this year's SABER EMEA awards and entered the finals of the highest rank of the SABER "Diamond Awards" in the reputation management category. We are proud of this achievement which is the result of a huge commitment of the entire company and our HT Volunteer Club, but primarily of the fact that 54 nursing homes have participated in the Program so far and that we have connected more than 1,500 seniors and continue the project", said Igor Vukasović, Director of Corporate Communications of Hrvatski Telekom.
Hrvatski Telekom is carrying out "Generations Together" in cooperation with the Volunteer Center Zagreb. The Program has included nursing homes throughout Croatia, and all those who joined were given tablets and provided free internet. Since the Program started, home residents learned how to use various digital tools, and members of the HT Group Volunteer Club also participated in the Program.
The international EMEA SABER finals come after the "Generations Together" program received the HUOJ Grand PRix Award for Corporate Social Responsibility. In November 2021, it was presented at the Corporate Social Responsibility Conference as an example of good practice. The entire Deutsche Telekom recognized “Generations Together" as the best Program in its category in the competition of almost 200 registered projects.
