Hrvatski Telekom, Croatia's leading telecommunications operator, presented the Business Monitor service for business and residential customers. Business customers may use it to check operations of present and future business partners or competitors, to learn with whom they are connected, to keep track of business trends and to look for answers to questions such as: 'How does the company operate? Does it make profit? Is a long-term cooperation possible? Will the company pay in time?' etc. On the other hand, residential customers can check business information when looking for employment, when purchasing specific products or services.
The Portal aims to assist customers in making passing correct and more secure business decisions, in reducing business risks and in improving sale and/or purchase.
The Portal comprises the Business Search Engine Croatia (data on the management of specific entities, on transaction accounts, ratings, business status and trends, financial reporting – reports covering the last five years, ratios –information on liquidity, solvency...) and Regions (comprising data for Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Slovenia and containing the same type of data as the Business Search Engine Croatia).
The business search engines contain publicly available data. The data will be updated depending on type; most data will be updated on a daily basis, while financial data will receive annual. The difference to existing providers of similar services is in the daily subscription for use of the search engines and, new on the market, an annual subscription payable in 12 monthly installments, and the data for the Region (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia).
Hrvatski Telekom is the sole provider on the market to offer a daily subscription for use of the search engines (which is new on the market), an annual subscription payable in 12 monthly installments, data for the Region and the option to view 150 business entities daily, for each license.
