Inhabitants of the mentioned counties can now use 20 times faster mobile Internet.
In a number of towns and places in Zadar County, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and Lika-Senj County, Hrvatski Telekom has extended its fast 3G network coverage. With the extension of the coverage of Hrvatski Telekom’s fast 3G network, the customers in these counties can fully enjoy all the benefits of advanced mobile devices – smartphones and tablets. Telework, receipt and sending of e-mail messages, watching of movies or videos from YouTube, and use of Facebook run smoothly and without waiting on the 3G network. Compared to 2G networks, 3G network enables up to 20 times faster data transmission.
With its fast 3G network, HT covers almost the whole territory of the coast, islands, and local seas. Work on network improvement continues and 3G coverage was extended last and this year also in the most onshore parts of Croatia. In the Zadar County, the coverage has been improved and additionally extended for the inhabitants of the following places: Benkovac, Benkovačko Selo, and Tinj in the Municipality of Benkovac, Biograd na Moru, Galovac, Nin, places Novigrad and Pridraga in the Municipality of Novigrad, place Gornji Karin in the Municipality of Obrovac, Town of Obrovac, Pag, places Drage and Pakoštane in the Municipality of Pakoštane, Polača, places Briševo, Murvica, and Poličnik in the Municipality of Poličnik, places Posedarje and Slivnica in the Municipality of Posedarje, Municipality of Povljana, place Ugljan in the Municipality of Preko, Municipalities of Privlaka, Sali, Stankovci, places Debeljak and Gorica in the Municipality of Sukošan, places Sveti Filip i Jakov and Turanj in the Municipality of Sveti Filip i Jakov, Škabrnja, Tkon, Vir, Starigrad, places Kožino and Petrčane in the Municipality of Zadar, Town of Zadar, and Municipality of Zemunik Donji.
In the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the 3G signal coverage has been improved in the Municipalities of Baška, Punat, Vrbnik, Town of Krk, place Vrh on the island of Krk, Town of Cres on the island of Cres, Town of Crikvenica and places Dramalj and Selce in the Municipality of Crikvenica, Mali Lošinj and Veli Lošinj, Novi Vinodolski, places Banjol, Barbat, Kampor, Lopar, Mundanije, Palit, and Town of Rab on the island of Rab.
In the Lika-Senj County, the coverage has been improved in Novalja and Senj. HT started with intensified improvement of fast 3G network coverage in this county last year, when 3G network coverage was improved in Otočac, Korenica, Brinje, Križpolje, Kuterevo, Prozor, Švica, Perušić, and Krasno Polje.
The extension of 3G network coverage included a number of other larger and smaller places along the coast and on islands.
On this occasion, a special discount of HRK 200 for the purchase of Sony Xperia J was prepared for customers in T-Centers in Zadar, Rijeka, Crikvenica, Krk, and Gospić. The offer is valid by 31 July or until clearance of the stocks.
Voice and data measurements, which Hrvatski Telekom regularly undertakes on its mobile network, show that HT’s mobile network is the best network in Croatia according to all the most important parameters. High network quality is one of the key factors that enable a high service level as provided by HT to its customers. Our 3G network covers a large portion of the territory of the Republic of Croatia, including rural areas, coastline, and islands. Last and this year, the 3G signal coverage was extended to the territories of East Slavonia, Karlovac County, Varaždin County, Krapina-Zagorje County, Istria, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Šibenik-Knin County, and Split-Dalmatia County. With the latest coverage extension in the territory of Zadar County, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and Lika-Senj County, HT has covered the whole territory along the coast, islands, and local seas with fast 3G network. In March last year, Hrvatski Telekom was the first operator to put into operation 4G network based on LTE technology and among the first operators in Europe and the region. Hrvatski Telekom has the largest 4G network coverage in Croatia.
