INA teams up with Combis to implement a complete printing solution Zagreb

30.7.2013

The regional system integrator Combis has successfully implemented the advanced printing solution Total Print Management in INA, the largest national oil company. It has helped INA significantly increase the level of printing efficiency and optimize printing costs.

“Today's large companies spend from one to five percent of their total annual revenues on documentation production, distribution and storage. One of the ways to optimize costs is certainly printer infrastructure management, which, according to the same survey, can reduce operating costs by up to thirty percent. Printing becomes centralized, optimized, measurable and transparent, services and devices become multi-functional – used for printing, copying, scanning and faxing.” – said Ratimir Boršić, director of the Technical Support Division in Combis.

Comprehensive and advanced printing management is an increasingly used term today when the optimization of costs and raising of environmental awareness have become topical issues. There are a number of benefits of this solution, the end result being satisfaction of employees who are provided with the possibility to control, at any moment, their activities, save time thanks to high speed and functionality of the devices,
and to take care of the environment.

Total Print Management is a complete and technologically advanced printing solution which provides full control over the service of printing, faxing, copying and scanning and which guarantees absolute transparency of costs because the user does not own printers or expendable material, but only pays for the printing service based on actual consumption.

“Combis takes care of all printing solution segments, from central system management, procurement, maintenance, disposal of printers and expendable material to supervision and maintenance of the complete system, i.e. customers can fully focus on their everyday tasks”, explained Mr. Boršić.

“The advanced printing solution which we have implemented with the support of Combis has addressed challenges such as control and maintenance of a large number of printers by different manufacturers and on dispersed locations throughout Croatia, it has improved efficiency of the whole system and brought significant savings. Moreover, this project has ensured proactive support which meets all needs for high quality and efficient printing for employees – from the elimination of malfunctions to standard replacement of expandable material.” – said Goran Pavlović, director of the Information Service Sector at INA
