As of today, Hrvatski Telekom will buy used mobile handsets at all its T-Centers across the country. For their handsets which they wish to dispose of in an ecologically sound way, customers will get discounts – in the amount of the used handset's redemption value - on the purchase of any device or accessory from HT's wide range of products on offer.
Used handsets can be offered for sale by all persons of legal age, regardless of where the handset was purchased or which mobile operator they use. Buying prices depend primarily on market trends, and the handset's age and operative condition; the maximum price offered by HT is 1.800 HRK. Customers of Hrvatski Telekom can increase their discounts by combining points from the +club loyalty program and, depending on the number of points, achieve an additional discount of up to 600 HRK.
If the handset has no market value, HT will accept such device and dispose of it in an ecologically sound manner.
Hrvatski Telekom started disposal of used mobile handsets without market value back in 2005; in early June 2013, it launched the service of buying mobile handsets which is available in all T-Centers as of today.
Until now, these initiatives resulted in the collection and ecological disposal of more than 120.000 old mobile handsets.
