Regional systems integrator Combis in cooperation with T-HT-Hrvatski Telekom, has implemented infrastructure in Orbico Group in order to support business systems consolidation, thus securing high availability and business continuity for five Orbico Group members across Europe.
Implemented infrastructure is based on Microsoft virtualization technologies, with the most recent Microsoft System Center 2012 products for management and control. „We have secured reliable and stabile infrastructure for Orbico Group which guarantees high availability of business system. Aside from risk protection ensured with implemented solution for business recovery, added value is secured through usage of advanced tools for management and supervision“, explained Goran Car, Professional Services Division director in Combis.
Most recent versions of Microsoft products were used during the implementation and project also characterises one of the first implementations of Microsoft disaster recovery solutions Hyper-V 3.0 Replica.
„The possibilities of implemented technologies and the ones Orbico ltd owns licences for, present extreme potential in building highly manageable and automatized IT system which is, according to its characteristics, very close to the solution today widely known as Private Cloud. We believe that this kind of potential will be additionally used in the next phases of Orbico Group's IT system development“, said Domagoj Vilić, IT Manager from Orbico ltd.

HT and Combis will, after development and implementation, upgrade mutual cooperation with Orbico Group by services of maintenance.
