Regional systems integrator Combis, in cooperation with partner, Cisco Systems BiH organized Combis Technology Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina during which the company conducted a research on business-technology priorities of companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Same research Combis conducted two months ago in Croatia while organizing the similar event in Zagreb.
The research results show that according to the opinion of IT managers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, first three business priorities are connected to the improvement of IT applications and infrastructure, increasing enterprise growth and reduction of enterprise costs, while technology priorities are connected to mobile technologies, security and Cloud computing.
„If we compare these results with the ones from Gartner's research that included over 2.000 IT managers worldwide, we see a clear connection between them. Therefore, high position among first three business priorities in both researches took the priority for increasing enterprise growth and the one for reduction of enterprise costs. On the other side, high positioned technology priorities are mobile technologies and Cloud computing. These results clearly show that approach towards IT in Bosnia and Herzegovina is well considered and that the companies are fully aware of challenges that modern business puts in front of them. However, the question of realisation of the mentioned priorities stays and this is the place where we recognise the importance of Combis as provider of precisely those solutions and services which enable their optimum accomplishment“, said Damir Horvat, Combis International Business Manager and Sales Manager.
During Combis Technology Day topics related to business intelligence, business planning and analytics were presented as well as customer relationship management regarding to the increased development of mobile technologies. Moreover, automatized and efficient management of applicative versions and implementations were presented as well as integration of business tools with mobile technologies.
Cisco Systems Bosnia and Herzegovina, as co-organizer of Combis Technology Day presented innovative collaboration solution and data centers as tools for achieving business excellence – topic that is receiving more and more attention in contemporary business surroundings.
