Supervisory Board of Hrvatski Telekom has appointed Jens Hartmann as Member of the Management Board of HT d.d. and Chief Operating Officer Business, for a period of three years, with effect from 17 June 2013.
Jens Hartmann replaces Irena Jolić Šimović, Member of the Management Board, who took up the position Chief Human Resources Officer in September 2012. In the meantime, the overall responsibilities of the COO Business have been undertaken by the Member of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Norbert Hentges.
Ivica Mudrinić, President of the Management Board and CEO, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jens to the Management Board of T-HT. Jens brings strong experience gained from senior roles he has held both within the DT Group and the wider sector and I look forward to working alongside him.“
Jens Hartmann has gained significant experience in senior managerial positions in the business customer segment of the Deutsche Telekom, where he played a key role in the strategic development of the business, including product portfolio management and innovation and the optimization of positioning and enhancing the sales organization and customer segmentation. He also spent some years at global consultancy McKinsey & Co., where he developed a range of programs to improve strategy, sales and corporate finance in both the telecommunications and other sectors.
