Hrvatski Telekom's expertise behind new global T-Travel eSIM platform
Hrvatski Telekom and Deutsche Telekom launched T-Travel, a new digital eSIM platform that gives travelers worldwide access to mobile internet in more than 200 destinations.
Behind this global product is the expertise of local experts: the Hrvatski Telekom team played a key role in developing the platform's customer experience, offering, pricing model, and hundreds of business partnerships. The platform will now be available to travelers using eSIM-enabled mobile devices across different countries.
This makes Croatia's knowledge and expertise integral to a new product designed for customers across all continents. As one of Europe's leading tourism destinations, Croatia welcomes millions of visitors every year, giving local teams first-hand insight into travelers' need for simple, reliable connectivity.
Internet as soon as you arrive at your destination
T-Travel addresses a key need for today's travelers: staying connected easily from the moment they arrive at a new destination, without searching for local physical SIM cards or worrying about unexpected roaming costs.
The entire process is digital and straightforward. Before departure or while traveling, users select their destination, trip duration, and the data package that suits them, then activate it directly on an eSIM-enabled device.
"Traveling today is almost unimaginable without a mobile phone. We use it for navigation, bookings, payments, transportation, and communication wherever we are, so from the very beginning it was important to us that T-Travel make this part of the journey – staying connected upon arrival at a new destination – as simple as possible. "Our focus was on making the entire customer journey – from selecting a destination and the right package to eSIM activation – as simple, fast and intuitive as possible, making the service easily accessible to everyone," Madunović explained and concluded.
Over 200 destinations, no contract
T-Travel offers access to mobile networks in more than 200 destinations worldwide, at transparent prices and with no contractual commitment. The service builds on Deutsche Telekom's extensive network of international partners and decades of experience in global mobile connectivity.
Customers can choose from four package options – Lite, Standard, Max, and Unlimited – with flexible validity ranging from one to 30 days, allowing them to select a package based on the length of their travels. Data volume and price depend on the destination and trip duration, so customers can choose a package that fits their needs, whether they are traveling for several days or weeks.
Users can also manage multiple eSIM packages in one place, for example, for family members or fellow travelers. Customer service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
T-Travel is Deutsche Telekom Group's travel eSIM solution, developed through close cooperation between Hrvatski Telekom, the customer-facing service provider, and Telekom's Wholesale Unit in Germany, which provides the underlying managed service. Together, they combine the convenience of a fully digital travel product with the experience and reliability of an established international telecommunications group.
T-Travel is available via t-travel.com and the T-Travel mobile app, which customers can use regardless of their mobile service provider. For existing customers of Hrvatski Telekom and other Deutsche Telekom Group companies, T-Travel does not affect their existing roaming benefits; instead, it is an additional, standalone digital service.
T-Travel is primarily aimed at travelers without a Telekom mobile contract. Customers of Hrvatski Telekom and other Deutsche Telekom Group companies already have access to attractive and convenient roaming options. T-Travel is therefore an additional, standalone digital service, not a replacement for existing roaming offers.
