Hrvatski Telekom launched MAXtv 20 years ago and was among the first in Croatia to bring a new television viewing experience. This major anniversary is being celebrated with a series of special birthday offers, including MAXtv free of charge for the first two years for anyone who signs up for the Internet + TV M package.

Over the past two decades, technology, content, and viewing habits have all evolved, and MAXtv has developed alongside them. When it launched in 2006, HT offered 55 TV channels and Video on Demand, a revolutionary feature at the time that allowed users to watch content whenever it suited them. The video library initially featured around 150 titles, whereas today, through VoD and sVoD offerings, more than 25,000 titles are available. Just two years after its launch, MAXtv surpassed 100,000 customers, and the channel lineup grew to 100. The service's technological advancement for its time is also evidenced by the fact that users could remotely schedule recordings of their favorite shows via SMS. Today, the most comprehensive MAXtv package offers more than 160 channels, bringing together television, movies, series, and premium sports content in one place, available across different screens whenever and wherever it suits customers.

To mark the anniversary, everyone who signs up for the Internet + TV M package will receive MAXtv free of charge for the first two years. During this period, they pay only for the internet service, while using MAXtv at no additional cost and enjoying movies, series, programs for the whole family, and premium sports content.

Existing MAXtv customers will also receive birthday benefits. By the end of the year, we will activate the Sports package at no additional charge for all of them. In addition, all customers who renew their M package contract will be able to use the more comprehensive L package at the price of the M package for six months.

We have also prepared a special benefit for anyone who does not yet have MAXtv, regardless of whether they are Hrvatski Telekom customers. Through Magenta Moments, they can claim a voucher, activate MAXtv, and use it free of charge until the end of the year. This will allow them to easily try out MAXtv and access attractive content in one place - legally, securely, and in high quality - without the need to rely on unreliable and unauthorized content sources.

The celebration also brings additional birthday surprises. In T-Centers, Hrvatski Telekom is organizing a prize draw giving away 20 Samsung televisions, and Magenta Moments users will have the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles and a visit to Universal Studios.

The birthday campaign runs throughout September and October. Under the slogan "MAXtv - Part of Your Program for 20 Years," it features the familiar characters Lada and Mislav in an emotional retrospective of the past two decades and the shared moments we grew up with, cheered, laughed, and enjoyed ourselves together.

The 20th anniversary of MAXtv is therefore both a thank-you to everyone who has been part of its story over the years and a look ahead to what comes next. Just as it has kept pace with tech advances and changing viewing habits over the past two decades, MAXtv will continue to evolve and grow, bringing the latest content and features and an ever better, simpler, and more personalized television and entertainment experience.
