Hrvatski Telekom achieved an outstanding result in the sustainability assessment conducted under the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) methodology, earning an overall ESG rating of "A" with 87 out of a possible 100 points. With this result, HT ranks among the very top of more than 200 companies in the Telecommunication Services industry, reinforcing its position as a front-runner in sustainable business practices and transparent ESG reporting.

The LSEG ESG Score is one of the world's most widely recognized standards for assessing companies' environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. Developed by the London Stock Exchange Group, it is based exclusively on publicly available information and enables independent benchmarking of companies within the same industry.

The result reflects HT's long-term strategic commitment to sustainability and responsible corporate governance. Sustainability is an integral part of HT's business strategy. Through continuous investment in digital infrastructure, environmental protection, employee development, digital inclusion, and responsible governance, the company creates long-term value for its customers, employees, shareholders, and society.

"Being ranked among the world's leading telecommunications companies, in a field of more than 200 operators worldwide, is an exceptional recognition of our sustainability strategy and the systematic efforts we have been making over the years. As a company that actively communicates with investors and the capital markets, an independent assessment based solely on publicly available data is particularly valuable. It confirms that our transparency and responsible governance meet the highest international standards. Our continued investment in digital infrastructure, our people and innovation, together with our commitment to reducing the digital divide and operating in a more environmentally responsible manner, provides the foundation for our long-term success. We will continue to lead Croatia's digital transformation while creating sustainable value for our customers, shareholders, and society as a whole," said Matija Kovačević, Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer of Hrvatski Telekom.

This achievement builds on a series of recognitions confirming HT's leading position in sustainability. This year, Hrvatski Telekom became the first company in Croatia to receive the country's highest national award for sustainable business, the Golden HRIO, presented by the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development. In addition, HT has received the Croatian Sustainability Index (HRIO) award for five consecutive years. HT was also recognized by the Financial Times, which included the company in its list of Europe's Climate Leaders 2022. These recognitions demonstrate HT's consistent application of the highest standards of sustainable and responsible business and its long-term commitment to creating a positive impact on society and the environment.
