Hrvatski Telekom launches T Business Academy – Free Training for Entrepreneurs Across Croatia

Hrvatski Telekom has launched T Business Academy 2026, a major expansion of the Business START Academy. Last year, more than 4,000 participants from 300 companies across Croatia took part. The program targets micro and small businesses, as well as sole proprietors. The new edition kicks off with the first of six regional events on March 25 in Split. Events will follow throughout the year in Rijeka, Pula, Osijek, Zadar, and Zagreb.
While last year's program focused on startups, T Business Academy 2026 broadens its scope to all entrepreneurs seeking digital upgrades, from those just starting to established ones. The program includes six in-person training courses, over 20 webinars, on-demand digital content for independent learning, expert panels with local entrepreneurs, and, as a new feature in 2026, a mentorship contest. Selected companies get a unique chance for year-round guidance from experienced mentors. This year's contest for the best business idea also offers a €5,000 prize.
The content is organized around three pillars: applying AI to daily operations, digitizing business processes, and cybersecurity. It also covers topics like Fiscalisation 2.0, EU funds for digitalization, productivity, and financial literacy, with practical tools and examples tailored to the Croatian market.
"In the past year, we've built something Croatia hasn't had before: a complete ecosystem to support the digital transformation of Croatian society. We launched 'You Can Do AI Too' to help every citizen understand and use AI. We've invested over €1.2 billion in infrastructure over the last five years to make it possible. Now, with T Business Academy, we're closing the loop, because entrepreneurs need more than access to tech; they need the know-how to turn it into business results. This year, we're not just educating; we're building a community where entrepreneurs learn from each other, have mentors by their side all year, and compete for growth capital. That's our vision: for Hrvatski Telekom to be the partner that both sparks and connects," said Marijana Bačić, Board Member and Chief Operating Officer Business at Hrvatski Telekom.
The program is run in partnership with the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts (HOK) as the institutional partner, Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZŠEM), Halpe, Zagreb Bank, and Honor. Expert content comes from Hrvatski Telekom and Combis, as well as public figures and recognized experts in their fields.
