Hrvatski Telekom announces that at a meeting held today the Supervisory Board appointed Mr Norbert Hentges to the newly created position of Member of the Management Board of HT d.d. and Chief Operating Officer and decided upon some reallocation of managerial responsibility as a consequence to steer the implementation of the Group’s transformation strategy.
The Board has also received notification of the resignation of Mr Johan Busé as Member of the Management Board of HT d.d. and Chief Operating Officer Residential.
Mr Hentges will take up the new COO position and join the Management Board of HT d.d. on 1 September 2012. Mr Hentges has gained significant experience in senior managerial positions within the DT Group, including product development and marketing, technology and platform strategy development, wholesale business development and managing the German business customers unit. He is currently with Deutsche Telekom, where he is a member of the Europe Leadership Team.
The main responsibilities of the new Group COO position include coordinating, managing and integrating operational and transformational activities across the Residential and Business Customer Facing Units, Wholesale, Customer Services and Technical Functions. The Board will provide more details on transformation strategy in due course, following the adoption of decisions on new processes and directions.
The resignation of Mr Busé as Member of the Management Board of HT d.d. and Chief Operating Officer Residential is effective as of 1 August 2012. The overall responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer Residential will be undertaken by the President of the Management Board and CEO Ivica Mudrinić until a replacement is named in due course.
