Magenta LogIn - HT's internship program for ICT students and an opportunity for a first job
Hrvatski Telekom launched a new Magenta LogIn internship program that provides a career opportunity to all ICT students who graduated over the past 18 months. The program lasts ten months, and all participants will be paid an attractive internship salary, and those who excel during the internship will be offered permanent employment.
The first generation of interns will have the opportunity to immediately try their hand at IT departments: R&D, IT architecture and Business and Services Systems Development Department, Department for development of digital program components, and Department for voice core platforms and services in Zagreb, Osijek and Split, whereby they will be able to choose the specialist area in which they want to start building their career and work on interesting projects and new platforms.
Magenta LogIn is structured so that each intern has a dedicated mentor and participates in a rich educational program through which they will acquire and develop professional technical knowledge and practical skills in project management, agile work, and financial management, as well as soft skills such as storytelling, business presentation, and teamwork, to name a few. All interns will also have an entire professional team as support so that they always know how they are progressing, what they are doing well, what they need to work on, and what their current development path looks like, as well as their plans for the future.
“After the ICT Academy and Magenta Jump In student internships, through which we received more than 2,000 applications from interested students, we decided to launch Magenta LogIn, our most extensive program to date, which provides participants with the opportunity to work on modern technologies, acquire key knowledge through internships, and permanent employment after the internship. We believe in the great potential of young people. We want to allow them to prove what they are capable of. After the internship, their first job awaits them to start building a career in the ICT industry", said Anamarija Minarski, director of the Employment, Performance Management, Development, and Employees’ Experience Department at Hrvatski Telekom.
