Croatian systems integrator Combis has implemented high available e-mail solution in the company Euroherc osiguranje d.d., based upon Microsoft Exchange 2010 technology. This advanced new generation e-mail system significantly improves performances, scalability and reliability, compared to the previous versions. Moreover, it enables total adjustment to the users' needs.
Implemented e-mail system secures access to all communication channels from one point, which results with improved cooperation inside the company and contributes to the better relationship with business partners. Euroherc osiguranje d.d. has over 1000 employees and deals through its 14 modernly equipped branch offices and over 600 retail offices.
"Today e-mail systems no longer serve exclusively for sending and receiving electronic messages. They are much more – collaboration platforms whose features (access to resources through all familiar Internet browsers, unified access to e-mail, voice mail, direct messaging and etc.) significantly contribute to the mobility of the user. In other words, by implementing Exchange 2010 we secure best means of communication, regardless the location of the user." – said Goran Car, Combis' director of Professional Services Division.
Implemented e-mail system is based on architecturally new model which enables substantially simplified access to high availability combined with improved managing tools.
"Our customer has recognized the value of this new version, and also of the new, unique approach towards high availability and possible implementations of disaster recovery solutions that are possible in Exchange 2010 system. Moreover, achieving the new level of reliability and business continuity was one of customers' demands that we followed while choosing the right solution for Euroherc osiguranje d.d." – pointed out Car.
Microsoft Exchange 2010 implementation was one of the first implementations of this product in Croatia. Combis' experts were involved in all phases of the project, from analysis of the customers' needs, over implementing the solution to the integration and commissioning the system in whole.
