In order to assume new duties within Deutsche Telekom Group, Rainer Rathgeber is leaving the position of the Management Board Member of Hrvatske telekomunikacije d.d. and President of the Management Board of T-Mobile Croatia as of 30 September 2009.
As of 01 October 2009, Mr. Rathgeber will take up the position of the Senior Vice President Area Management OTE within the DT Board Department Southern and Eastern Europe.
Rainer Rathgeber was born in 1964. He earned a degree in economics from the University in Passau. He started his career by working for the prominent consulting companies A.T. Kearney and Roland Berger, for their offices in Germany and Latin America. In 2002, he joined the team of T-Mobile International, working in the areas of strategy and regulatory issues, sales and service strategy and market management as Executive Vice President for all European countries. In September 2006, Rainer Rathgeber was appointed Member of the Management Board of T-HT and Chief Operating Officer Mobile, and President of the Management Board of T-Mobile Croatia.
Rainer Rathgeber managed T-Mobile in the period marked by outstanding business success. The Company maintained its leading position on the demanding Croatian market of mobile telecommunications with the largest market share and the biggest customer base. He significantly contributed to the increase of postpaid customers and execution of the national roaming agreement with Tele2 that helped T-Mobile in accomplishing excellent business results. With Rainer Rathgeber as CEO, the Company became even more customer oriented, and therefore included in its offer a range of innovative services for both residential and business segments. T-Mobile was the only provider in Croatia that offered iPhone, the most populare device of today.

The Supervisory Board of the Company will in due course decide on the allocation of his duties.
