Within the framework of the customary campaign "Closer to smiles", through which employees of the T-HT Group give gifts to children in hospitals and homes for abandoned children all over Croatia, children in the Zagreb Children's Hospital and the University Hospital "Sestre milosrdnice" received gifts today.
Santa Claus and the Good Fairy gave an occasional performance for the little ones and were joined in the distribution of gifts by popular singer Luka Nižetić. The various gifts cheered up and brought forward smiles to the faces of all little ones.
"A lot of thanks to the employees of T-HT for this traditional giving of gifts to our small patients. With a heavy heart we look at these children who are going through a difficult time right now, but at the same time we are happy that people like you exist who have enough love in them and want to help in any way they can, especially during this time of gift-giving when all of us want to feel the atmosphere of Christmas", said Goran Rojić, the head of the Zagreb Children's Hospital.
"Our wish is to evoke a holiday atmosphere in these hospitals and homes and to put as many smiles as possible on the faces of these small patients. We are very happy that we have managed once again to collect a lot of beautiful gifts this year. We are proud of the fact that our company is made up of people who feel for others and want to help when help is needed", said Alemka Lisinski and Maja Weber, the communication directors of T-HT and T-Mobile.
Employees of the whole T-HT Group joined forces in collecting gifts. The gift-collection campaign began in mid November and these gifts will be distributed up until Christmas, i.e. December 22.
After Zagreb, Santa Claus and the Good Fairy will visit children in hospitals and homes in Karlovac, Ogulin, Rijeka, Pula, Zadar, Šibenik, Split, Dubrovnik, Slavonski Brod, Osijek, Vukovar, Vinkovci, Varaždin, Čakovec, Koprivnica and Bjelovar over the next two weeks. Apart from Luka Nižetić, gifts will also be distributed in certain hospitals by singer and TV host Duško Modrinić, yachtsman Ivan Kljaković Gašpić-Bambi and T-Com soccer players from the First League. Company employees will also participate in the distribution of gifts in homes in Zagreb, Osijek, Rijeka and Split.
