According to the research by Hrvatski Telekom, the biggest changes in trends concerning the way of using the telecommunications services occur on the side of the fixed line services. This is manifested in a demand of the fixed line users for packages that would provide even larger number of services and benefits, and that affect the quality of their lives and better connectivity with people and information of their choice.
The users demand a larger freedom of calls to all fixed and mobile networks, and today, every third fixed line is a broadband line. Even 30 percent of all new broadband users are users over 60 years of age. However, more than 50 percent of such users does not have the appropriate gadget for using the Internet and is afraid of using it.
Furthermore, 20 percent of the fixed line users would select the broadband line if the offer included a computer or tablet. When measuring the service satisfaction, even 75 percent of users of Halo Super 60, which includes 60 minutes only to the fixed network of HT, said that they would want larger freedom of calls to both fixed and mobile networks.
According to these latest trends among users and the long-term strategy to increase the availability and use of the fast Internet, Hrvatski Telekom designed more advanced packages with additional benefits for the residential users of voice services only:
The reliable HT technicians are at the disposal of users of all three packages, so that their fear of unknown would be fully eliminated when installing the services.
The trends show that 10 percent of users annually terminate their fixed lines, but the fixed line is a basis for the expansion of fast Internet availability and for the creation of a strong digital society. “We want every fixed line in Croatia to be a broadband line, and therefore we have decided to create new, more advanced packages for our customers. Every voice service user has been offered the fast Internet access in the price of the package, a favourable price of a tablet computer, a significantly increased number of minutes included in the monthly fee for calls to all fixed and mobile networks, and more favourable price of electricity,” said Richard Brešković, CMO of Hrvatski Telekom.
