Hrvatski Telekom has introduced new roaming offers for residential and business customers, offering the most favourable rates for calls and Internet traffic in countries abroad. The offers have been adjusted to the changes in roaming regulation that will take effect by the end of April.
As for calls in roaming, residential and business customers can activate the Travel & Talk option. This option includes 60, 240, or 600 call minutes in its S, M, or L variant; up to three different options can be activated at the same time, in order to reserve sufficient call minutes in advance. Upon consumption of all call minutes, calls will be charged according to the currently valid roaming price list. The fees to be paid for the S, M, and L options are HRK 40, 150, and 350 per month.
If data traffic is needed by residential customers, they can take advantage of the Travel & Surf option that provides 50, 200 or 500 MB at a fee of HRK 14, 49 and 99; the duration of the options is one, three, or seven days in the EU countries. Prepaid customers can also enjoy the more favourable data traffic, at the same rates as subscribers.
Data traffic for business customers will be billed on a monthly basis. 165 MB, 500 MB, and 1.5 GB are available at a fee of HRK 75, 200, and 500 in the S, M, and L option.
When you are in a foreign city, the easiest way to find a hotel, a restaurant, or a meeting venue is to use navigation and mobile Internet. Activate the Travel & Work option and surf in countries abroad without having to worry about unexpected costs. The Travel & Work option, including a data traffic package, can be used in a duration of one month.
Upon consumption of the data traffic package within the Travel & Work option, continue using mobile Internet in countries abroad at the following rates: HRK 1.90/MB in EU countries, Norway, Island, and Liechtenstein, and HRK 4.26/MB in other countries where the Travel & Work option is valid. Unused MB volume will not be carried forward to the next billing period.
In the roaming area, as of 30 April, a new regulation for EEA countries (EU countries + Island, Norway, and Liechtenstein) will take effect, according to which call minutes in these countries will be charged as minutes to other mobile networks in Croatia, along with a roaming surcharge of HRK 0.47/min for outgoing calls and HRK 0.10/min for incoming calls.
Starting from the same date, SMS messages will be charged as messages to other mobile networks in Croatia, along with a roaming surcharge of HRK 0.19/SMS, while the roaming surcharge for MMS messages to other mobile networks in Croatia will amount to HRK 0.47/MMS. Data traffic will be charged as data traffic for use in Croatia, at the same roaming surcharge of HRK 0.47/MB.
Until 30 April, roaming services will be charged according to the currently valid price list, depending on the country and on the mobile network used during the travel/stay in the country abroad.
