T-HT general partner of MSU

Signing the Sponsorship Contract worth two million kuna on 5 February 2007 made T-HT a general partner of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MSU) in Zagreb

In the presence of mayor of the City of Zagreb, Milan Bandić, partnership between the leading corporation in Croatia and a large national cultural institution was confirmed by signatures of the President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of T-HT, Ivica Mudrinić and the Head of MSU-a, Snježana Pintarić. On that occasion, MSU and T-HT presented a number of activities planned under the scope of partnership that will be enabled thanks to this huge investment of an economic entity into culture.

Probably the most interesting activity for Croatian artists will be the announced Invitation for the “Annual award” for a prestigious work of Croatian contemporary art, which will help set up yet another collection of contemporary works of art. The awarded works, after their purchase will become a part of “T-HT’s collection of contemporary works of art”, that will be an integral part of MSU space and be included in the Museum holdings after their purchase.

A piece of funds will be invested into various educational programs of the Museum - workshops and playrooms for children and persons with special needs, production of didactic games with reference to contemporary art, creative workshop, student programs etc.

Head of the MSU, Snježana Pintarić, pointed out on the occasion of signing that such a sponsorship contract, in which an economic subject significantly supports not only the opening and activities of a museum, but also the development and maintenance of various programs in it, is a rare example in the European practice, which is so close to us.

President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of T-HT, Ivica Mudrinić, showed satisfaction about T-HT’s contribution to the culture in Croatia and emphasized: “As a company devoted to contemporary ccommunications, we are looking forward to a collection to be created by MSU for the welfare of all culture consumers, with our financial support, and which we believe valuable pieces with concepts based also on new communication technologies, multimedia production of picture and sound, and on shaping and transfer of information, will find their way to.”
