Combis Conference, with the motto Challenge the Future, has been officially opened on Thursday in front of a record number of participants.
Combis Conference, one of the largest regional technology conferences, has been officially opened on Thursday in the first and the largest conference centre in Croatia - Convention Centre Šibenik. The eleventh edition of the Conference gathered a record number of 500 visitors.
CEO Hrvoje Išek pointed out that the content of the Conference is focused partly on current technological possibilities, but also on the future of expansive IT areas, such as the future of Internet of things, Computer Vision, Cloud, collaboration and security. "Motto of the whole Conference is Challenge the Future because we must ask questions continuously, what comes next, to what are we going towards and what will our business and private lives look like in the future", said Išek at the opening of the 11th edition of Combis Conference.

Plenary lecture powered by HT was held by the co-creator of Skype and expert on topics of entrepreneurship and sales strategy Jonas Kjellberg, who talked about introducing innovations in business and the difficulties in the process. "It is clear to everyone that companies need to improve, or transform. It is a fact of modern business. But, how to make that necessary change and think in a different way, is often a question that is very difficult to answer, especially to provide an answer to which your colleagues will respond positively. Out of the box thinking often introduces discomfort, as most of the people are actually accustomed to thinking Inside the box, ie think the box exists for a reason", Kjellberg said.
"The way to get new users must be innovative, by no means a copy of the already seen and must be led by a specific logic. For success, you also have to ensure Delight - honest and true excitement. People need to be won over by the product. If you achieve the mentioned honest excitement with your product and the story you create around it, you will provide the sale you strive for", said Kjellberg and pointed out the importance of acquiring new users.
