Hrvatski Telekom provides the best quality of mobile data and voice services amongst all the networks in Croatia. This has been confirmed by a test conducted by the company P3 Communications, which has awarded HT with P3 "Best in Test" certification, an internationally recognised proof of quality assurance.
Certificates awarded by P3 have been widely accepted as impartial, and they provide representative results of mobile network testing due to the fact that they are based on a realistic comparison of all the competitors on a specific market. P3 Communications has tested networks in 65 countries located on 5 continents.
During the testing conducted by P3 from 28 September to 7 October, HT network collected 918 out of the possible 1,000 points, which significantly exceeded the results achieved by the direct competitors. This is the best result since records by P3 in Croatia began. Hence, HT has shown to provide the best mobile services in Croatia, i.e. the best user experience.
"In 2017, Hrvatski Telekom has increased its investment into infrastructure and technology by HRK 178 million. P3 results are a proof of high quality services provided currently to Croatian users. Moreover, HT network excellence is evident compared with the leading European markets, primarily in the segment of Internet access. We are continuing with vigorous investment and development of all the segments of technology: IP core aggregation network, access network, service platform, and IT system. In doing so, we are preparing Croatia for a new wave of technological changes", pointed out Davor Tomašković, President of the Management Board of Hrvatski Telekom.
Hrvatski Telekom currently offers the fastest mobile network speeds up to 350 Mbit/s, whilst it is launching a pilot project in Karlovac where the users will be given the opportunity to download at a speed of up to 550 Mbit/s. This is the first commercial use of MIMO (multiple antenna) technology that is crucial in 5G networks. Furthermore, speeds are increasing and fixed broadband coverage is expanding. 876,000 Croatian users, i.e. 58% of Croatian households, will be covered by access speeds exceeding 30 Mbit/s. Fibre optic Internet connection will be provided for 378,000 users, i.e. 25% of households. Consequently, through a wave of continuous investment cycles, HT Group will independently meet 70% of the objectives of the Digital Agenda 2020 for Croatia.
